Sunday Hike

We were running a little low on quality family time a few weeks back so we decided to skip church and head to the Fort Worth Nature Center for a hike. It was so nice to just BE. Be together as a family. Nothing to do. No errands to run. Just the four of us hanging out and enjoying God's beautiful creation.

Coen led the way!

He was also especially helpful when Wallace would throw his hat over the bridge. :)

Brotherly Love! I don't usually catch these moments on camera.

Unwelcome guest

Someone moved into our front lawn. Can you guess who??

 Well, hello there.

Eat any good birds lately?

I found him when I went to pick up Coen's trike. You can see the handles in this pic. The red arrow on the left is the tarantula house (I've circled him in yellow) and the red arrow on the right is where my son was playing moments before I snapped this pic. Lovely, no??

This neighborhood is kinda going downhill...

And now we play the waiting game..

This house was owned by an older couple. So it came with little old lady flora. Not that I mind the gimpy bushes and the irises and....whatever these are going to be.

I just don't like where any of them are.
So, you can bet they will be getting relocated at the appropriate time.

For now, I am curious as to what they will look like.

Fall Around My House

I did a post similar to this a few years back. See?

This year my little "nature walk buddy" can actually walk. So we strolled around and took pictures of all things "Fall". Enjoy!
