When it's hot, like it has been here lately (106°!!), we make a run for the lake. Last year my sister, Julie, and I started trucking it out to Granbury for their unrivaled public beach. It has nice sandy beach, a tikki hut with cheap snacks and drinks and sno-cones, bathrooms and a nice big splash pad for the kiddos! Love!
