This weekend Daniel and I dove into a kitchen project we've been wanting and needing to do for a long time. We needed a back splash of some sort! The water from the sink would get on the walls, which was peeling our cheap paint! It was also leaking behind the counter tops and making a mess in our cabinets and drawers. It was a lot of work and precision but it paid off big time! I think it looks like a "real" kitchen now!!

Much better don't you think? We still need to do some touch up painting and cleaning around the top. And I need to re-hang a few things on the wall. Now all I need is curtains!!
